Yeocomico Church
Yeocomico Church is a historical church located in Westmoreland County, VA. The original wooden structure was built in 1655. It was replaced in 1706 by a structure built of locally fired bricks. It was designed as a National Historic Landmark in 1970. The interior has been repeatedly worked on. Little remains, either physically or stylistically from colonial times. It was painted white on all surfaces with the expectations of the tops of the railings.
In 1906 a association was formed to preserve the church.
